02 Security principles and the threat landscape
Confidentiality, integrity and availability; common threats, malware and social engineering.
03 Windows and Linux security
User and permission management, hardening, patching and secure configuration.
04 Network security
Firewalls, VPNs, secure network design and wireless security.
05 Ethical hacking and vulnerability assessment
Reconnaissance, scanning and testing systems legally and safely to find weaknesses.
06 Security operations and incident response
Logging, monitoring, detecting incidents and responding step by step.
07 Cloud and web application security basics
Shared responsibility in the cloud and the most common web application risks.
08 Capstone security project
Assess and secure a practice environment and present your findings.
